摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core performance computing device capable of accurately obtaining a monitoring index well-correlated with a control rod service life. <P>SOLUTION: In a monitoring index analyzer 6 of a nuclear reactor core performance computing device 1, a conversion coefficient from fuel output to a monitoring index of a control rod service life is calculated for each node using data stored in a conversion coefficient storage device 5 and a void ratio and burn-up for each node inputted from a three-dimensional core nuclear thermal-hydraulic characteristic analyzer 4, and the monitoring index of the control rod service life for each node is computed on the basis of the calculated conversion coefficients for the respective nodes and the fuel output for the respective nodes inputted from the three-dimensional core nuclear thermal-hydraulic characteristic analyzer 4. By averaging the monitoring indexes in four nodes adjacent to the control rod, the monitoring index in a corresponding axial area of the control rod is obtained. At the point of time at which the obtained monitoring index reaches a limit value of the monitoring index equivalent to a preset service life, the service life of the control rod ends. The monitoring index well-correlated with the control rod service life is, for instance, a neutron absorption amount of the control rod, a neutron absorption amount of B10 inside the control rod, or an average B10 consumption rate of the control rod or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
