<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain image quality when conducting continuous printing during which the size of recording medium changes from a small one to a large one. <P>SOLUTION: The printer includes: a head; a conveying mechanism for conveying paper sheets to a position opposing the head; a resending mechanism for resending the paper sheets to upstream of the head; and a control section controlling these. The control section controls the head, the conveying mechanism and the resending mechanism when conducting continuous printing during which the size of recording medium changes from a small one to a large one in such a manner that: conveying a large size paper sheet P1 by the conveying mechanism, conducting ejection flushing toward the surface of the paper sheet P1 from the ejection port opposing the paper sheet P1, thereafter resending the paper sheet P1 to upstream side of the head by the resending mechanism, conveying the resent paper sheet P1 by the conveying mechanism, and forming an image onto the backside of the paper sheet P1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
