摘要 PURPOSE: A display device for improving contrast and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve a contrast ratio by removing a part of a black plated layer formed on a diffusion part of an LED with laser marking. CONSTITUTION: A display device for improving contrast includes a light emitting module(120), a contrast improving unit(130), and a fixing unit(140). A light emitting module is received in a frame(110). A plurality of light emitting devices are arranged on the printed circuit board to emit light. A contrast improving unit is formed in the front of the light emitting device and improves the contrast of light emitted from the light emitting device. The fixing unit fixes the light emitting module to the frame. The contrast improving unit includes a black plated layer(132) and a light transmitting unit(134). The black plated layer is formed on the entire surface of the light emitting module. A light transmitting unit is formed by removing a part of the black plated layer at an emission angle of light emitted from the light emitting device.
