<p>The disclosure provides a device for adjusting a position of a cutting insert, the device may include an adjustment screw, an adjustment wedge adapted to receive the screw, wherein a position of the wedge is a function of the rotation of the screw and a partially flexible intermediate member between a surface of the wedge and a surface of the cutting insert, wherein the intermediate member is supported on both ends. The disclosure further provides a cutting tool adapted to receive at least one device for adjusting a position of a cutting insert, wherein the device may include an adjustment screw, an adjustment wedge adapted to receive the screw, wherein a position of the wedge is a function of the rotation of the screw and a partially flexible intermediate member between a surface of the wedge and a surface of the cutting insert, wherein the intermediate member is supported on both ends.</p> |
