<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin planar lighting device having an inclined surface formed in the vicinity of a light-incident end surface, stably obtaining excellent luminance characteristics and assemblability. <P>SOLUTION: In the planar lighting device, a light guide plate 11 includes an inclined part formed between a light-incident end surface 14 and an emission part equipped with an emission surface 12, and having an inclined surface 16 whose thickness gradually decreases from the light-incident end surface side 14 toward the emission part side. An FPC 21 is arranged from an inclined surface 16 side in the light guide plate 11, and is equipped with a mounting part 21a with LEDs 22 mounted thereon, and a folded part 21b folded against the mounting part 21a and fixed to the inclined surface 16. The folded part 21b is configured as a thinner part whose thickness is thinner than the mounting part 21a with the use of a base film 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
