<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To swiftly obtain measurement result from a whole blood state in measuring a specific component in blood. <P>SOLUTION: A method for measuring component of a whole blood specimen includes the steps of: (1) diluting the whole blood specimen with a solution containing an oxidizing agent and a surfactant; (2) measuring a target component in the diluted specimen; (3) quantitating an amount of haemoglobin (Hb) in the diluted specimen; and (4) converting the measurement result in the step (2) into a measurement result when blood serum or blood plasma is measured by correcting influence due to hematocrit (Ht) value on the basis of the quantitative value of the step (3). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
