<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat capable of being compactly formed while properly maintaining a seating feeling. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle seat, which makes the height of a seating part adjustable, includes: right and left side frames 30 which each comprise a longitudinally-elongated body part 30A and an attachment part 30B for a seat back frame 2 protruding upward from the rear of the body part 30A and which configure right and left frames of the seating part; a height adjustment mechanism which lifts and lowers the right and left side frames 30; an operation unit 8 comprising an operation knob 81 for driving the height adjustment mechanism by an occupant's operation and which is fixed to one of the right and left side frames 30; and a seat spring 4 which is disposed between the body parts 30A of the right and left side frames 30 and which supports the occupant sitting on the seating part.
