<p>A synchronization device associated with a dog clutch for selectively connecting either of two rotating driving members to a rotatable driven shaft comprises a sleeve moveable axially upon the slidable toothed member of the dog clutch and having friction cones at its ends engageable alternatively with respective mating surfaces on the driving members, at least one longitudinally-extending slot of cranked shape forming inclined baulking surfaces in the sleeve, and a cylindrical pin passing through said slot and engaging at its radially inner end in a hole in said slidable toothed member and at its outer end in a hole in a ring slidable axially on the sleeve by a selector fork of a gear shift mechanism.</p> |
