摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic photodiode which has a high quality and which can be manufactured by a simple process, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: In a gap between a transparent anode 11a formed on a glass substrate 10 and a reflection cathode 11e formed against it in the organic photodiode 1, a plurality of photodetections 11c of a layer of composites for optical absorption, and a barrier 11d for insulating the transparent anode 11a and the reflection cathode 11e and insulating the photodetections 11c adjacent to each other from each other, are formed. The barrier 11d is obtained by applying ink solution to the transparent anode 11a and an insulation layer covering its surrounding to dissolve the insulation layer with an organic solvent contained in the ink solution to form a plurality of such dissolved holes as contact with the transparent anode 11a.
