PURPOSE: A device and a method for measuring a backlash of a balancer are provided to measure a backlash in the state similar to an actual load state and to confirm whether the backlash is existed within the completed balancer. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring a backlash of a balancer comprises a jig, a clamp device(300), a driving gear(70), a driving shaft, a pressing plate(90), a driving unit, and a rotation extent measuring unit. The jig places a first gear(41), a second gear(42), a first shaft, a second shaft respectively joined to the first and second gears, and a balancer. The clamp device prevents rotation of the second gear. The driving gear rotates the first gear. The driving gear is installed in one side of the driving shaft. The pressing plate comprises a bearing unit in which the driving shaft is joined to and a heavyweight body. The driving unit applies a torque to the driving shaft. The rotation extent measuring unit measures a rotation extent of the driving gear. |
