<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling a grille shutter for a vehicle, with which an increase in weight of a vehicle is suppressed, a mode is selected according to a situation, and fuel consumption is improved. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the method of controlling the grille shutter for the vehicle, the grille shutter including: radiator grilles 20a and 20b provided to outside air introducing openings 21a and 21b for introducing outside air into a radiator 3; cross flow fans 30a and 30b provided between the radiator grilles 20a and 20b, and the radiator 3 and having an electricity generating function; and a controller 50 for controlling the cross flow fans 30a and 30b. The method of controlling the grille shutter for the vehicle includes a step where the controller 50 moves the cross flow fans 30a and 30b to a closed position at which the outside air introducing openings 21a and 21b are closed, or to an opening position at which they are opened, on the basis of water temperature of cooling water passing inside an engine 4, and determination whether the vehicle is decelerated or not decelerated, and selects a mode to perform control of one of rotation restricted lock, rotation allowed unlock, and forced drive giving driving force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
