CHARACTER INPUT DEVICE AND CHARACTER INPUT PROGRAM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a character input device capable of solving a problem in character inputting operation using a pointing device in which a user is required to perform complicated inputting operation while paying attention to the key position.

SOLUTION: The character input device of the present invention includes: a first software keyboard which allows a user to select keys with a movement direction of a pointer; and a second software keyboard which is displayed when a key is selected with the first software keyboard. By having keys selected when the movement direction of the pointer is changed, the second software keyboard allows a user to input characters free from the movement distance of the pointer.
