<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a batch type sewage treatment system and a batch type sewage treatment method, which are excellent in maintainability and operation efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The batch type sewage treatment system includes: batch tanks 11 and 12 for storing sewage SW and activated sludge SL; a vertical shaft type aeration device 20 provided with an elevating/lowering type impeller 21; outflow/inflow adjusting devices 31 and 32 for adjusting the inflow of the sewage SW to the batch tanks 11 and 12 in an inflow step and the outflow of clean water CW from the batch tanks 11 and 12 in a discharge step; and a controller 40 for controlling the aeration device 20 so as to aerate and agitate the sewage SW while elevating the impeller 21 to the vicinity of an air-liquid interface according to water level elevation inside the batch tanks 11 and 12 in the inflow step, and to lower the impeller 21 beforehand in preparation for the next inflow step in the discharge step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
