<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide food, which includes taste or smell of soybean flour or both of them, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The problem is solved by making rice, which has flavor (taste and/or smell) like soybean flour, by heating rice represented by wx/ae rice for a proper time at proper temperature. Though the wx/ae rice used in preferable embodiment has high dietary fiber content, and further blood glucose level suppressing effect, antilipidemic and visceral fat preventive effect, etc., are confirmed, it is unroasted and is delicious by virtue of its peculiar flavor, but development to food is limited due to its peculiar flavor. However, utilizing this roasted wx/ae rice will develop food which has high in flavor and is delicious and healthy that all people are easy to accept.
