<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a recording medium which is stained by transferring, even when ink overflow occurs while an image is recorded, and thereby a conveying roller is stained with the ink and the ink is transferred to the recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: An inkjet recording apparatus includes: a recording head having nozzles to jet inks; a conveying roller arranged at the downward side of a conveying direction of the recording medium relative to the recording head; a scanner arranged at the downward side of the conveying direction of the recording medium relative to the conveying roller; a search means for calculating a distribution of a deposition amount of inks to the recording medium based on an image data, and searching a region where the deposition amount of inks is predetermined value set based on an absorbable amount of the recording medium or more; and a determination means for determining whether the ink overflow occurs based on a result of reading at least the region by the scanner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
