<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for driving an LED, which drives an LED so that optical output of a specific wavelength can be reliably obtained, without adopting a complicated configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The method for driving an LED comprises a driving current control step in which a driving current for driving an LED is increased or reduced so as to include a predetermined current value with which the LED emits light at a specific wavelength, and further the operation of increasing or reducing the driving current is periodically executed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
