<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera and an interchangeable lens capable of reliably giving a sensation of acoustic zoom effect to a user regardless of the type (focal distance) of the interchangeable lens. <P>SOLUTION: A camera (102) includes: a receiver section (130) that receives a piece of zoom range information representing a range of zoom magnification available by an interchangeable lens (301) from the interchangeable lens (301); a sound collection section (111) that generates a piece of voice data from a voice; and a voice processing section (120) that changes the setting of directional characteristics of the sound collection section (111) corresponding to the zoom magnification of the interchangeable lens (301). The voice processing section (120) sets the sound collection section (111) to first directional characteristics in which a voice in a widest region can be collected when the interchangeable lens (301) is at a position where minimum zoom magnification is obtained and to second directional characteristics in which a voice in a narrowest region can be collected when the interchangeable lens (301) is at a position at which maximum zoom magnification is obtained, on the basis of the zoom range information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
