PURPOSE: A system for displaying an image and a method thereof are provided to easily constitute the whole system without any composition of a separate input device or an operating set in the system for displaying an image. CONSTITUTION: An audio and video decoding unit(300) reads out the specific video file saved in the external memory which are decoded for users to watch and hear. A code reader(500) scans the codes including the information of special items. The code reader transfers the scanned information to the audio and video decoding unit. The audio and video decoding unit finds out the video file matched with the scanned code in the external memory, stops replaying the video file playing on a monitor, and immediately replays the found video file while the codes including the information of special items are scanned using the code reader during playing of an arbitrary video file. |
