PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly retrieve and acquire information pages (operation manual) including desired contents.

SOLUTION: An information retrieval system comprises: means for acquiring profile information indicating attributes of a user of a client terminal and evaluation information indicating evaluations for contents of provided information pages; and means which specifies information pages that are highly evaluated by users having common profile information, generates an information page list including links to the information pages, and provides the information page list to the client terminal.
