A refrigerator for kimchi equipped with a multimedia system is provided to use the multimedia room without opening the front door whereby a sub door is installed on the front side of the door and the multimedia room is formed on the rear side of the door. A refrigerator for kimchi comprises a shelf(212) or a drawer(214) receiving the food or drink inside, a main door(220) which selectively opens or closes the inside, and a multimedia room(300) which is sectioned by a barrier(230) inside the refrigerator body or by a case on the rear side of the main door so that a multimedia system(100) is installed and the food or drink is separately stored. A plurality of through holes(320) are formed on the barrier or case of the multimedia room in order to circulate the cooling air in and out of the multimedia room.
