<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection system which is capable of precisely inspecting each printed page by detecting bad prints to be removed for achieving quality prints. <P>SOLUTION: The system is composed of an authentication decoder 20 that converts image data from a camera into character codes, a control device 60 that stores unit character codes by page to be obtained in advance from a printer device 70, OCR/bar code scanner engine 50 that compares character codes from the authentication decoder 20 and the control device 60 to achieve judgement, a font matching inspection engine 40 that determines the difference between the bit-mapped font produced from character codes of the control device 60 and the image data from a camera 10, a server PC80 that stores the log data which are inspection results, a control device 90 that outputs reject or marking signals to remove bad pages and a control device 100 that transfers the log data through a communication means such as an ethernet or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
