PURPOSE: A motor assembly for a vacuum cleaner is provided to remarkably reduce the abrasion of a sealing member sealing a gap between an impeller and a casing, thereby improving the durability of a motor. CONSTITUTION: An impeller(20) is joined to a motor shaft to be integrated. A diffuser is arranged by being spaced at a predetermined space from an outer side of the impeller. A casing(40) comprises an inhalation hole(41) in a central portion. A sealing member(50) is interposed in a gap between the impeller and the casing. The sealing member prevents a leakage of gas around a gap between the inhalation hole of the casing and an inhalation unit(211) of the impeller.
