PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for continuously manufacturing metal silicon based on silica are provided to concentratedly arrange furnaces in a small-sized area and to minimize electricity consumption. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for continuously manufacturing metal silicon based on silica includes a heating furnace, a dissolving furnace(5), and a refining furnace(7). Microwave is irradiated to silica and reducing agents to be pre-heated. The pre-heated liquid silica is heated based on low-voltage arc in order to separate oxygen from the liquid silica and extract silicon in the dissolving furnace. High frequency wave is irradiated to molten silicon form the dissolving furnace to stir the molten silicon in the refining furnace. |
