<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the structure of an arm capable of manufacturing of a horizontal articulated robot with excellent productivity while making the appearance of the arm preferable. <P>SOLUTION: The robot 1 moves a second arm 5, and the second arm 5 includes an arm base 10 for placing a mechanical part 28, a connection plate 30 having holes 30a, 30b into which connection members 32 installed on the arm base 10 and connected to the mechanical part 28 are inserted, and a cover 34 having a first opening 34a exposing the connection plate 30 and covering side faces 10d of the arm base 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
