<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter element and a housing for the filter element. <P>SOLUTION: In the filter element 20 to be detachably inserted to a housing 10 having a detachable housing cover 12 and the housing for the filter element, the air filter element 20 has a tubular support structure 22, a filter medium 21 being disposed in the tubular support structure. Coupling sections 23, 25 are provided on one front end surface of the support structure 22, and the coupling sections are designed so as to be coupled with clamp devices 30, 40 for holding the air filter element between a housing body 11 and the housing cover in the longitudinal axial direction of the tubular support structure. The coupling sections include fixing element 24, 26 to arrest the rotation of the coupling sections and/or the support structure relative to the clamp devices when the air filter element is detachably installed in the housing 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
