<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the reduction in the capacity of a battery to which a phosphate is added to enhance the self-extinguishing properties of a nonaqueous electrolytic solution, by preventing decomposition of the phosphate. <P>SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolytic solution contains trimethyl phosphate, vinylene carbonate, and a nonaqueous solvent containing ethylene carbonate, and dimethyl carbonate and/or diethyl carbonate. The percentage of the total volume of ethylene carbonate, dimethyl carbonate, and diethyl carbonate is 60 vol.% or higher with respect to the total volume of the nonaqueous solvent, the ratio of the total volume of dimethyl carbonate and diethyl carbonate to the total volume of ethylene carbonate, dimethyl carbonate, and diethyl carbonate is in the range of 0.3 to 0.6, the weight percentage of trimethyl phosphate is in the range of 3 to 5 wt.% with respect to the total weight of the nonaqueous electrolytic solution, and the weight percentage of vinylene carbonate is in the range of 1.0 to 10 wt.% with respect to the total weight of the nonaqueous electrolytic solution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
