<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device which can further prevent an excessive increase in temperature of a heating rotator. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing device comprises: a heating rotator 9a; a pressure rotator 9b; an induction coil 71 which generates a magnetic flux for allowing the heating rotator 9a to generate heat; and a magnetic material core part 72 including a detour core part 78 in which a Curie temperature is higher than a temperature of the detour core part 78 in a state in which the heating rotator 9a reaches a fixing temperature for fixing a transferred material T and is lower than a temperature of the detour core part 78 in a state in which the heating rotator 9a reaches a heatproof temperature thereof, and a magnetic flux shield member 79 which is arranged so as to be surrounded by the detour core part 78 while coming close to or abutting on the detour core part 78. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
