PURPOSE: A battery equipped with safety device is provided to suppress fire and cooling at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A battery equipped with safety device is fixed to a module fixation unit by connecting unit cells(10,20) in which bare cell is packed and unit modules are connected in series. The battery includes an extinguishing cell(14) in which fire-extinguishing solution is stored. The fire-extinguishing cell includes a body and drain in which the fire extinguishing solution is exhausted. The vent is composed of heat-resistant material which can melt at a temperature of 150 deg. Celsius or less.
