<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical receptacle capable of preventing that a burr projects to the outside when pressed-in, and chips are discharged to the outside. <P>SOLUTION: An optical receptacle includes a bush for holding a stub, and a housing having a hole portion in which the bush is pressed.
