The device (10) has a spring (2), an ignition element (3) and a slider (5) that are arranged in a housing (1), where the slider is functionally connected with the ignition element. The housing is attached to a casing of a cartridge ammunition. The ignition element is initiated during an acceleration process, where the casing releases the slider after the ejection. A snapper (7) inhibits the projection of the slider from the housing, where the initiation of effect load e.g. gas or light, arranged above an ignition discharge opening (9) takes place over the ignition element.
