[Problem] To provide an image reconstruction apparatus and program of improved adaptability that can easily handle a variety of projection imaging situations. [Solution] An image reconstruction apparatus that: accepts image data relating to multiple projections that have passed through a measured object and have been obtained from mutually different directions with respect to the measured object; generates operation expressions, which represent probability models that generate the projections, based on distribution functions that represent the fact that there are previously determined correlations between the pixels of the measured object images and on conditions that depend on the measured object and relate to the processes leading up to the projections being obtained; and estimates sectional images of the measured object from the operation expressions that represent the probability models and the image data using Bayesian estimation.
