<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester polymer excellent in heat resistance, and a resin composition, a molded product, and a film each containing the polyester polymer. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester polymer comprises a repeating unit derived from a dicarboxylic acid compound having a partial structure represented by formula (C), and a repeating unit derived from a diol compound having an annular structure, wherein the partial structure represented by formula (C) constitutes a portion of the main chain. The resin composition comprises the polyester polymer and at least one additive selected from the group consisting of a flame retardant and a light stabilizer.
