摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that can suppress display unevenness even in the configuration in which a video signal is supplied to a pixel circuit via a selector. <P>SOLUTION: A display device and an electronic appliance each include a display portion and a pixel portion in which pixel circuits each including a holding capacitor, a writing transistor writing a driving voltage corresponding to a video signal in the holding capacitor, and a driving transistor driving the display portion on the basis of the driving voltage written in the holding capacitor are arranged in a predetermined direction. In the pixel portion, video signal lines for supplying video signals to the writing transistors arranged in the predetermined direction are arranged, and the pixel portion includes a plurality of N-output type selection portion capable of selectively outputting the video signal to the video signal line connected to an output end. In the case of monochromatic display, the output end specified as the output destination first is not set adjacent to the output end specified as the output destination the last in any selection portion or between the adjacent selection portions.
