<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disturbing signal removal device capable of satisfactorily removing interference signals from other radar apparatuses. <P>SOLUTION: A pulse compression radar apparatus includes: a disturbing signal removal device, an antenna, a reception signal processing section and an image display section. The disturbing signal removal device includes a transmission trigger generating section and a transmission frequency setting section. The transmission frequency setting section sets a band frequency to a non-modulated pulse signal P2 and modulated pulse signals P0 and P1 each having a different band frequency. The antenna transmits the non-modulated pulse signal P2 and modulated pulse signals P0 and P1, and receives reception signals reflected by a target. The reception signal processing section generates a radar image representing a position of the target around the own ship on the basis of the reception signals received by the antenna.
