A garment for at least partially supporting the bust of a wearer comprising of a pair of interconnected breast cups 5, wherein: each breast cup comprises a first zone 12, disposed at or near a central region of the breast cup, the first zone having a first stiffness; and a second zone 13 which is adjacent to and substantially surrounds the first zone, the second zone having a second stiffness which is less than that of the first zone. The garment may further comprise a third zone 14 which is adjacent to and substantially surrounds the second zone, the third zone having a third stiffness which is less than that of the second zone. The zones may be concentric or have a boundary between adjacent zones which is substantially sharp, or there may be a substantially gradual boundary between the zones. |
