<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for a liquid ejection head, a liquid ejection apparatus, and an ink jet recording apparatus, capable of achieving a desired dot shape by suppressing the generation of the meniscus without sacrificing the efficiency of ejection or the landing accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A driving device for an ink jet head that ejects a liquid droplet from a nozzle hole by supplying a driving signal to a piezoelectric actuator, the driving device comprises: a driving signal generating means that generates the driving signal (10) used for operating the piezoelectric actuator that is disposed in correspondence with the nozzle hole of the ink jet head, wherein the driving signal includes a plurality of ejection pulses (11 to 15) used for performing ejection a plurality of times in one recording period, wherein a final pulse (15) of the plurality of ejection pulses having a rise time equal to or longer than a quarter of a resonant period T<SB POS="POST">c</SB>, and wherein a pulse width of the plurality of ejection pulses is a half of the resonant period T<SB POS="POST">c</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
