<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relate an image which a user has imaged to a route through which the user has travelled for imaging the image, for displaying. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device includes first input means for inputting the image data in which an image signal generated by an imaging apparatus is related to the point information representing a point at which the image signal is generated by the imaging apparatus, as well as a locus data representing the locus of movement of the imaging apparatus, display control means displayed on a monitor which superposes a movement locus corresponding to the locus data on a map image for displaying, and determination means which, based on the locus data, displays an index that moves from one point on the map being displayed to another point, and determines whether or not the position of the index matches with the point information.
