<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new member for pipe manufacturing which prevents detachment of reinforcement metal fittings even when torsion stress is applied during the pipe manufacturing. <P>SOLUTION: The member 1 for pipe manufacturing includes: a long band-shaped base plate 2; a plurality of ribs 3 installed along the lengthwise direction of a surface 20 of the base plate 2; and the reinforcement metal fittings 4 each fitted and fixed between opposing inner walls 301 of two reinforced ribs 30 selected from the plurality of ribs 3.
