The device (1) has a lifting plate (12) that is movable from a releasing position to a closing position along traveling direction of shut-off needles (32) by an actuator (6) e.g. electrical actuator. Hot liquefied plastic material is injected from a hot runner manifold (10) by injection ports of a needle valve nozzle (42) into an injection mold (8) in the releasing position. The lifting plate is displaceably supported at a bifurcated frame (14) in transverse to the traveling direction by a toggle lever (18), which is displaceable by the actuator along a guide.
