The method involves permanently storing factors specific for a drive motor as value pairs in a matrix for different voltages before the start of an operation of a step switch. The actual voltage at the motor is measured (2) at the beginning of each operation. The value pairs assigned for the measured voltage are read (3) from the matrix. Effective power consumed by the motor is determined (5) based on current values at an electric drive motor. Effective rotational torque at the motor is determined (6) from the effective power. Respective motor torque is determined based on the effective power. |
