PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of lithium titanate is provided to mass produce lithium titanate having various physical properties at low cost. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of lithium titanate comprises the following steps: injecting electrolyte solution(16) which includes lithium ion and titanium ion into an electro chemical reactor(10) in which active electrode(13), reference electrode(14) and counter electrode(15) are mounted; synthesizing lithium titanate precursor from the electrolyte solution by applying voltage to the active electrode using cyclic voltammetry; and collecting the synthesized lithium titanate precursor from the electrochemical reactor and heat treating the precursor. One of the active electrode and counter electrode includes one or more metal meshes. Among the electrolyte solution, the mole ratio of the lithium to titanium is 0.7-0.9. The inner temperature of the electrochemical reactor is maintained as 0-90 deg. Celsius.
