摘要 PURPOSE: An aluminum alloy slab manufacturing apparatus using free fall and a high-temperature closed atmosphere is provided to reduce the time and processes for continuous casting by installing a filtering molten metal passage and a slab casting device at different heights to prevent backflow of molten aluminum and aluminum cast materials. CONSTITUTION: A aluminum alloy slab manufacturing apparatus using free fall and a high-temperature closed atmosphere comprises a free fall-type melting furnace(100), a cradle-type retaining furnace(200), a filtering molten metal passage(300), a slab casting device(400), and a microcomputer(500). The free fall-type melting furnace melts a raw material at high temperatures and discharges molten aluminum to the retaining furnace by free fall. The cradle-type retaining furnace is located lower than the free fall-type melting furnace and tilts and pours aluminum cast materials toward the filtering molten metal passage with hydraulic pressure. The filtering molten metal passage filters out foreign materials attached to the aluminum cast materials and regulates the amount of the aluminum products injected into the slab casting device to let the aluminum cast material freely fall toward the slab casting device. The slab casting device injects the aluminum cast material into an aluminum slab mold and cools the aluminum cast material with cooling water to obtain an aluminum slab. The microcomputer automates the whole processes in a free fall and high-temperature atmosphere manner and checks an abnormal state of a specific device.
