PURPOSE: A 3D image display device including a 3D digital information display function and a 3D digital information display method in a 3D image are provided to three-dimensionally express an augmented 3D virtual object by synchronizing the augmented 3D virtual object with right and left images. CONSTITUTION: A set-top box(20) generates a virtual 3D object corresponding to a marker ID. The set-top box synchronizes a location of the virtual 3D object. The set-top box augments the synchronized virtual 3D object to a left eye image and a right eye image. The set-top box outputs the left eye image and the right eye image. A 3D image converter(30) generates a 3D image from the left eye image and the right eye image outputted from the set-top box in order to output the same. A 3D display unit(40) displays the 3D image provided from the 3D image converter.
