OCCURRENCE INDEX PREDICTION METHOD OF CORNER-CRACK IN THE SLAB

PURPOSE: A method for predicting a corner crack generation index of a slab is provided to obtain areas per each section less than a set frequency by measuring mold level signals and to predict a corner crack generation possible index with a whole area and a reference value. CONSTITUTION: A method for predicting a corner crack generation index of a slab comprises next steps. A mold level is measured by a mold level sensor(S10). The level signals of the measured mold level are divided by a constant time interval(S20). The divided level signals are filtered so that a low frequency less than a set frequency is obtained(S30). The obtained low frequency is converted into a frequency region(S40). Areas of the region in which frequency among the level signals converted into the frequency region is less than the set frequency are calculated per each section(S50). The extent of the corner crack generation is predicted by calculating the corner crack generation index by using the whole area adding all calculated areas and a reference value when a corner crack is not generated(S60).
