The cover (1) has a curtain (2) covering a luggage compartment. A rear part of the curtain is rigidified transversely by a plate (3) made of a fiber board. The plate is formed with a gripping opening, and reinforced by a metal reinforcement section (4) according to transverse dimension of the plate, where the reinforcement section is a tube (5) associated with the plate by a single plastic material section (6) that is fixed at the plate by clips (8). A reception part (7) of the plastic material section interlocks the tube. Two fixing pins are arranged in two ends of the tube.
