The novel shelving system comprises a rectangular base element (1), a square base element (2) and simple shelves. The shelf units are assembled for normal-sized books (15) as well as large volumes of illustrated books (14). The rectangular base element and the square base elements have a floor and two sides (4) and a plate (5), where the base element is made of two plates. The two plates are square in shape with same size. A clearance slot (6) is formed between the two square plates of the square base element and a plastic or aluminum sleeve is inserted into small round holes. |
