<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overweight alarm device and a cabinet using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The cabinet includes a rack housing electronic equipment and an overweight warning device. The overweight alarm device includes a weighing circuit, an A/D conversion chip, a control chip, and a warning device. The weighing circuit includes at least one weighing sensor mounted at a bottom of the rack, and the weighing sensor senses a weight of the rack and converts the weight to an analog signal and then transmits the analog signal to the A/D conversion chip by the weighing circuit. The A/D conversion chip converts the analog signal to a digital signal and then transmits the digital signal to the control chip. The control chip compares the digital signal with a prescribed weight and, if the digital signal exceeds the prescribed weight, controls the warning device to generate a warning. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
