A multi-part protection device (7) is attached to the safety devices for protecting the safety devices against damages caused by external influences. The protection device is elastically deformed for positive retaining of the safety devices, and is provided with a base body and a protective body that is made of a permanent elastic material and designed as a resilient deformable hollow section.
