<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an operator to surely identify and recognize printing element setting information, with a defect, included in printing control information when a printer fails to print the printing control information outputted from an operation device. <P>SOLUTION: A printing device analyzes a printing instruction Q obtained from a bar code reader 200 and extracts a plurality of print-related commands TD included in the printing instruction Q in a predetermined order. Next, the printing device prints print data PD and text data of a print-related command TD1 in a printing manner corresponding to a new printing instruction Q generated by using the first print-related command TD1 of the plurality of print-related commands TD that are extracted.
