SIMPLE AND EFFICIENT METHOD FOR THE SIMULTANEOUS THERMAL INSULATION AND SEALING OF TERRACES

Novelty: a simple and efficient method is disclosed for the simultaneous thermal insulation and sealing of terraces. Application process: 1) coating of the terrace with asphalt polyurethane copolymer serving as a sealing material and as a barrier against vapours; 2) adhesion of a fine layer of extruded synthetic rubber exhibiting high thermal insulating properties and 3) application of the final layer of a sealing liquid polyurethane membrane exhibiting high resistance to stagnant water as well as to solar and ultraviolet radiation.
